Ben is the Managing Director with over 15 years experience in the construction industry. He started off as an apprentice electrical technician in a Coal Fired Power Station in Kent, UK, where he achieved an NVQ and HNC in Electrical Engineering. Further to his practical experience, he has had roles in a professional capacity as an estimator, quantity surveyor, commercial manager and senior consultant at an expert witness consultancy providing Quantum Expert Support on Large International Arbitrations. He has worked on a range of sectors including Rail, Residential, Commercial, Education, Health Care, Data Centres, Infrastructure and Aviation. He has a 1st Class Quantity Surveying Degree and is currently studying an MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution at King’s College in London. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), Member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET), Member of the Society of Construction Law and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
Adam is an Associate of Quanstruct Consulting Ltd with over 10 years experience in the construction & claims industry. He started his career as a Assistant QS with United House gaining vital Main Contractor experience in the London Residential Design & Build Sector. He completed his HNC in Quantity Surveying and went on to study for his Bachelors Degree which was achieved with Honors. This led him to seek further Sub-Contractor Experience with Building Contractors and specialised in Re-Enforced Concrete Frameworks, Interior Fit-Outs and Specialist Stonework Facades for some years. Adam moved to Sydney, Australia to develop his career further in Construction Claims with Tracey, Brunstrom & Hammond, preparing reports and assistance for complex construction claims defence and preparation. He returned to the UK in 2015 and joined Black Rock Program Management, a leading Expert Witness Consultancy in London gaining experience as an independent Quantum analyst in large International Arbitration’s.
James is an Associate of Quanstruct Consulting Ltd with over 15 years experience in the construction industry. He started off as a Assistant PQS Consultant with EC Harris where he undertook his Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying. With EC Harris he re-located from London to Abu Dhabi in the Middle East and spent 3 years overseeing Multi Million Pound Major Infrastructure Projects on the client side. He returned to the UK to gain further experience on the fast paced contractor side and has extensive M&E building services experience working with a multitude of M&E contractors in the UK & Europe, on a multitude of different sectors including Commercial Fit-Outs, Listed Government building Re-refurbishments and Large Data Centers. He has successfully completed the CIArb Construction Adjudication Training Modules and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
Alex is a Senior Consultant at Quanstruct Consulting, Alex is a highly focused and well organised individual with experience of scheduling for construction and engineering projects, and knowledge of physics and computer programming. With eight years’ experience working in the field of construction and engineering disputes, mainly at Hill International a global construction consultancy, Alex is able to apply his skills to the research and analysis required for delay and disruption appointments. Alex has extensively used planning and scheduling software including Primavera P3, P5 and P6; ASTA PowerProject, Acumen Fuse and Microsoft Project in the analysis of projects worldwide. Alex’s earlier studies of mathematical modelling, group theory and statistical theory, have equipped him with advanced problem solving techniques. Alex has developed his knowledge of construction and engineering projects, leading the investigation of progress and delays to projects in Australia, UK, Europe, Middle East and Azerbaijan. Alex uses his skills to identify the critical path, quantify the impact of delay events and assess the impact of variations on labour productivity. He is currently in his final year studying towards achieving an MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution at King’s College London
